From Pilot Project to full scale implementation
Posti Group Oyj in Finland was the innovative first mover to adopt the TRECO Solitaire Robot. Following a successful pilot project with a prototype in late 2019, Posti decided to move ahead with full implementation.
The Beginning
Throughout 2020, all technical details and requirements were carefully defined in close cooperation. The TRECO Solitaire Robot underwent a comprehensive transformation – evolving from a pilot-stage prototype to a fully operational solution, ready to meet the demands of modern sorting operations.
In March 2021, the first two TRECO Solitaire Robots were successfully installed at Posti’s facility in Helsinki – marking the beginning of a strong and forward-thinking partnership.

Full-scale implementation
The success of the initial rollout – combined with a strong and trusted partnership – confirmed for Posti that the TRECO Solitaire Robot was the right and only solution for automating the sorting of non-machinable items.

An innovative partnership
Over the following three years, Posti steadily expanded its use of the system. Today, 20 TRECO Solitaire Robots are in full production across three different locations, with the majority operating at the central facility in Helsinki.
Throughout the partnership, both the TRECO Solitaire Robot and the MasterMind software have been continuously refined – with upgrades focused on enhancing stability, functionality, and overall performance.
